Plot :
The Space Phantom arrives from space as the advance scout for an
invasion. He takes the form of a normal man, confining the man to
Limbo. He enters the mansion, where he is confronted by the Hulk. The
Phantom assumes the Hulk's form, sending him to Limbo and freeing the
man. The Phantom/Hulk enters the Avengers meeting room and picks a fight
with Iron Man, then takes off. He meets Rick Jones, and leaves the city
with him. He reveals his true identity to Jones, and leaves him there,
travelling to a Stark factory. Iron Man attacks him at the factory, and
forces him to flee, taking the form of a wasp. Iron Man doesn't notice,
and continues to battle the real Hulk. Rick summons Henry Pym to the factory.
He assumes his Giant-Man identity, and he and the Wasp go to the factory,
where the Wasp is attacked by the Phantom/wasp. The Phantom assumes
Giant-Man's form and battles the Avengers. He switches to Iron Man's form
and continues the fight while the Wasp summons Thor. Thor summons a storm and
rusts the Phantom's iron body. The Phantom tries to take Thor's form, but
fails because his power only works on humans, and is exiled to Limbo himself
forever. The Hulk leaves the team due to all the animosity shown to him
during the battles after Phantom had taken his form.
